Yes, Lord! UFC 310 is bringing the heat to Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena. This card isn’t just stacked; it’s a straight-up showcase of MMA’s finest, featuring legendary champs, hungry contenders, and enough action to blow the roof off Sin City.
Main Event: Pantoja vs. Asakura
Flyweight king Alexandre Pantoja, aka The Butcher, is walking into this fight with a reputation for destruction. He’s got the belt, 12 UFC wins, and a streak of dominance that’s unmatched. But standing across from him is Kai Asakura, a RIZIN standout making his UFC debut. This isn’t just any debut—it’s a shot at the title. If Asakura lands his signature knockout power, he’ll make history as the first fighter to snag a UFC belt in their debut. Brandon Moreno is definitely readying himself for a showdown with the winner.
This fight is all about precision vs. power. Can Asakura’s striking crack Pantoja’s ironclad defense? Or will Pantoja add another chapter to his legacy?
Co-Main Event: Rakhmonov vs. Garry
In the co-main, Shavkat Rakhmonov, the undefeated juggernaut, takes on Ian Garry, the fast-rising Irish sensation. Both guys are looking to plant their flag in the welterweight division, and a win here sets the stage for a title shot against Belal Muhammed. Rakhmonov’s versatility meets Garry’s sharp striking in what promises to be a technical chess match with brutal results.
The Undercard You Can’t Sleep On
• Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov: Heavyweight artistry at its finest. Gane’s looking for redemption after his Jon Jones loss, while Volkov’s on fire with four straight wins. I expect the winner of this scrap to call out the winner of the anticipated Jon Jones vs Tommy Boy Aspinal fight.
• Movsar Evloev vs. Aljamain Sterling: Two grappling machines collide in a featherweight bout that could shake up the title picture. It sucks to see this fight on the prelims. With that being said I am happy to be spoiled having a fight of this magnitude on the prelims. If the funkmster wins this fight, Sterling should defintely be in the number one contender conversation.
• Anthony Smith vs. Dominick Reyes: Veteran vs. veteran with a comeback story in a light heavyweight banger. The better question is, who does Jon Jones want to win?
• Nate Landwehr vs. Dooho Choi: Pure fireworks. I selfishly want to see Nate train on the mic. Who doesn't? Good luck to Choi as well.
