What's good fam, If you missed UFC 310, let’s catch you up: Las Vegas was electric, and the octagon... and post fight walk backstage was pure chaos! (I love Merab).. Flyweight king Alexandre Pantoja headlined the night with a savage submission win, and the rest of the card brought insane knockouts, grappling wars, and non-stop drama.
Main Event: Pantoja’s Flyweight Masterclass
Pantoja didn’t just win—he dominated. Rizin champ Kai Asakura. Asakura came in hot, but Pantoja put him on ice with a rear-naked choke. The Brazilian’s precision and relentless grappling left no doubt: he’s untouchable at 125 lbs. He wants Mighty Mouse to come out of retirement or to seek champ champ status going up in weight to fight the bantamweight champion. We'll be intrigued to see who Pantoja fights next.
Co-Main: Shavkat Gets It Done
Shavkat Rakhmonov stayed undefeated, grinding out a tough decision in his fight with Ian Garry. Although undefeated and will fight Belal Muhammed next, Shavkat no longer has a 100% finish rate in his fights. My UFC 5 CAF 100% finish rate streak lives!!
Co-Main: Gane Gets It Done
Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov had a heavyweight chess match. Gane edged out a split decision victory. This result was filled with controversy as many people including Dana White felt Volkov has done enough to secure the win. Would love to hear the closed door conversations about what to do next with the heavyweight division.
Showstopping Highlights
Movsar Evloev vs. Aljamain Sterling: Evloev and Sterling both gave an exciting performance. Evloev secured the win and hopefully a title shot. Tough loss for the former bantamweight champion, Aljo looked great competiting in this fight as a big underdog and I believe there is still a lot left in the tank.
Bryce Mitchell vs. Kron Gracie: “Thug Nasty” brought the thunder, smashing Gracie with a brutal TKO in the fight. Grappler vs. grappler? More like Bryce showed he’s got hands too. I loved the respect he showed post fight. Bryce is good for the flat ear... ahhh sport.
Vicente Luque vs. Themba Gorimbo: Luque snatched Gorimbo’s neck and walked away with a clean first-round anaconda choke. Classic Luque. Great to see him back looking sharp.
Kennedy Nzechukwu: One-punch power. First-round TKO. Enough said
Chase Hooper: Armbar magic in round one against Clay Guida. The kid’s evolving.
UFC 310 was a straight-up spectacle and a perfect way to wrap up the year. Between Pantoja’s dominance and the breakout performances, 2025’s title races are looking wild.
